Shoelace Tying Practice Model
This little wooden square is a practice set of laces for learning how to tie shoes. How cute. Like seriously, how fucking cute. I love the form, I love the simplicity, I love the crudeness. Just some little bits of leather stapled to a bit of wood. Looks like a bat too, weird. Unreasonably attractive for a purely functional item. Also the strange suggestion that it’s a kids shoe that's just been flattened out. Something slightly off putting about that if you start thinking about it too much. Soooo cute but creepy? Don't overthink it. I never overthink anything.
