Nailed ball for Pétanque. Nailed ball, lol, shit writes itself. But really these are interesting, the interior is a hardwood, likely boxwood for this one. The balls are then nailed exclusively by women (again, I don’t even need to make a joke) in a process that takes years to master. This one as seen some weather so its a little rusty, it could clean up well if you wanna do that work. These nailed examples kinda died out around 1920 so this example is likely 100+ years old.
